More than a month and a half had passed since Justice had been shot and Jay still hadn’t bothered to call his parents to find out whether he was living or dead.  He had packed up his things and moved to Atlanta with Sasha within weeks of her suggesting that they do so.  He had even been promoted to head of his own division within SecurCorp.  They had sold Sasha’s condo and were in the process of purchasing a new one but were able to live in company housing until the deal was complete.  Grip practically owned his neck of the woods and even though his criminal record was as wide as his smile, he was well connected with legitimate businessmen and city officials, so the two of them being related was a win-win situation for Jay.  Grip had introduced him to all of the right people and taken him to all of the right places. Jay and Grip went to a sports bar that Jay frequented that would serve him drinks when he was well passed his limits.  They had only been at the bar for an hour before Jay was absolutely inebriated, so Grip loaded him in the car and painfully listen to the almost imcomprehensable rambling of a drunk until he finally found his house.  He knocked on the door, not sure what to say to the woman who’d taken Robin’s place.  He’d never met her and only knew what Jay had told him about her.  He stood there with one of Jay’s arm’s thrown over his shoulder, while be basically held up the dead weight of his passed out cousin.  

“Who is it?” came the sound of a very familiar voice on the other side of the door.  Grip decided to remain quiet and when the door came flying open there she was.

“Widow,” Grip said when ...

“What?” Robin gasped, shocked that Nikki would ask about her tryst with Justice. She figured just knowing would satisfy her curiosity, but she was sadly mistaken.  Not only did Nikki want to know how it happened she wanted details on the when, what and why of the entire situation.  Both Nikki and Monique sat with waiting eyes, as they sat on the edge of their seats waiting with bated breath to hear just how two seemingly platonic friends had ended up wondering if they shared parentage of a child.

“Don’t what me,” Nikki replied. “You heard me. How did you and Justice end up in bed together and how many times?” She asked before she turned her attention to Monique saying, “Mo, there’s a bottle of chardonnay in the fridge.  Go grab that and some glasses so we can hear this one.”  Mo practically leapt from her ...

“I can’t stay.  I just stopped by just to drop off these clothes that Aunt Simone sent Justine and to let you know that I won’t be back for a couple of weeks after I leave.”  Justice said as he handed Robin two shopping bags of clothing.  Robin hadn’t seen Justice since his initial visit on Friday when he’d picked Justine up for a play date with some of her little cousins.  He had been so anxious to surprise Nikki with the beautiful diamond tennis bracelet that Robin had helped him pick out, that it seemed odd that he’d be standing by the front door looking like someone had shot his dog two days later.  He wasn’t even making eye contact with her and it was beyond obvious that his thoughts were a million miles away.  He came into the house far enough to close the door behind him but just lingered in front of ...
