SECRETS CH. 1

Chapter 1

Denasia

"Denasia, why are you waiting until now to decide that being with me is wrong?" Darren asked. I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was starting to get pissed off with me.

"Because Im just now realizing it."

"You have been fucking me for the past 6 months and you're just now realizing that screwing your mother's fiance is morally incorrect. Wow!"

"Why are you giving me a hard time? We both knew that this day would eventually come, so why dont we just call it quits and pretend as if nothing happened."

"How the hell can we pretend that nothing happened when are 2 months pregnant with my damn baby?"

"Nobody has to know that its your baby. I can make up some bullshit story about the baby's daddy disappearing."

"And what the fuck am I supposed to do huh? Just sit around and watch my child grow up thinking that its got a deadbeat dad. HELL NO!"

"Well what do you suggest since you seem to have all of the answers. Tell me what you want me to do."

"I dont know yet but give me some time to think about it."

"Im 2 months pregnant and already I have a baby bump. I dont have fucking time."

Not wanting to continue with the argument, I walked out the door and got in my car to drive back home. I live with my mother so going back home and looking her in the face is going to be hard. As Im driving home a mixture of emotions hits me and I suddenly began to cry as I think about the situation I got myself in.

Renee

Denasia doesnt think that I know about her little secret, but I do and I already have a plan in motion to expose her for the selfish little bitch that she really is. Every since I can imagine all I have ever heard is how my big sister Denasia is so smart and so pretty and she is going to achieve great things in life. My mother wont admit to it, but I know that Denasia is her favorite because thats the only person she brags about to her friends as if she doesnt have any other children. Well once she finds out that her little princess is fucking her husband to be, I bet she wont be her favorite anymore. All I have to do now is get proof that the two of them have been messing around.

Michael

I love Denasia with all of my heart. We have been together for 3 years and I think that she is the one, but how do I tell her that her sister, Renee, is pregnant with my baby. I just know that this little bit of information is going to tear us apart. FUCK! How did I get myself into this situation? Maybe if I explain to her that it was a one time mistake then she will forgive me and agree to marry me. Naw, Denasia is too smart to fall for some bullshit like that. This is all that conniving bitch Renee's fault.

Denasia

As I pull up into my driveway, I start to think about my options of whether I should keep the baby. I want to keep my baby because I know that I will be a great mom, but at the same time by me keeping this baby I will have to live with the guilt of knowing that I had sex with my mom's fiance. Deciding to think about this another time, I get out of my car and walk into the house. As soon as I walk into the house, I see my mom in the kitchen cooking dinner. She has this glow to her that I havent seen since my father was alive and that makes me feel worse.

"Hey ma, what are u cooking?"

"Hey baby! Im cooking meat loaf, rice and gravy, sweet potatoes, and greens." Where have you been?"

"Umm....I was at a friends house studying for my psychology exam." It hurt me to lie to my mother like that but I had no other choice.

"Thats my baby always studying so she can get good grades. I wish Renee would follow in your footsteps and do the right thing, but all she wanna do is run behind these raggedy ass boys and hang out with them ghetto ass friends of hers."

"Im sure she will learn soon just give her some time and space to mature."

"I hope so cause her ass is two steps away from being shipped off to go stay with your grandmother. I dont know if I can handle her anymore."

"Ma, just give her some time."

Right after I said that, my little sister Renee came walking down the stairs with a smirk on her face as if she knew something that we didnt.
