ONE NIGHT....6.5

Vanessa stood in the bathroom holding on to the sink hoping she does not have to run back into the stall to puke up her lunch.  This morning sickness is going to be the death of her.  The nausea passed, and she was able to compose herself.  She walks out the bathroom, and heads to her desk. She stops dead in her tracks, as she comes up behind a huge plant.  She see’s Brandon get off the elevator while Donna is standing there waiting.  They are having what seems to be a very heated argument.  Since she is around the corner behind a huge plant they can’t see her trying to listen in on their conversation.  She tried to get closer so she could hear, but they were whispering.  Why were they whispering?  Most importantly, why did Donna look so angry?  She looked like se wanted to slap the hell out of Brandon.  He reached for her and she pushed past him and got on the elevator.  Vanessa watched as Brandon stormed into Jason’s office.  The door nearly came off its hinges.  He slammed the door shut so hard the wall shook.  Heads were popping out of offices to see what was going on.  I quickly made my way over to Jason’s office. I put my ear up against the door and all I could hear was mumbling.  I bent over to look through the only piece of glass that was clear enough to see through.  Boy was I glad I did. I was just in time to see Brandon knock the hell out of Jason with a mean right hook.   Oh my god, what the hell was going on?  Next thing I know Brandon gets down on one knee and grabs Jason by the collar, and is ready to hit him again when Jason puts his hand out to thwart off the next blow… 

 Meanwhile across town…..

 Donna gets a call from her assistant letting her know that her 2:30 appointment has canceled. So her afternoon was free.  She decided to go get some groceries to make Jason’s favorite dinner, and to pick up some of his favorite wine.  She parks her car at the market, and proceeds to get out.  All of a sudden she feels a slight case of dizziness, which she shakes off. She probably just  needs to eat something. Since she did not have lunch, she'll grab something while she is in the market.  She gets a cart and goes in side.  She heads to the back of the market to where the make fresh pasta, and asks for some fettuccine.  After placing the order she’s told it will be 10 minutes.  She heads over to the produce section to get some tomatoes, and some fresh basil, and then she quickly makes her way over to the seafood to get some shrimp and scallops.  As she heads back to get the pasta, she feels dizzy like the room is spinning with her. She reaches for the cart, but misses the handle, all of a sudden the floor rushes up to meet her, and then darkness.
