ONE NIGHT......2.5

“Hey baby.  “I needed to talk to Brandon. I need him to fax me some papers from the office tomorrow for this meeting.

“Well sweetie he actually went home to get some things and should be back in a little while”.

“I’ll call him on his cell then”

“I tried calling him on his cell to remind him about my tea, and it rang here in the kitchen, I guess he forgot it”

“Ok then I’ll call back in an hour or so.” “How are you feeling baby?”

“I feel fine honey don’t worry about me, I’m ok”

“Well I can’t help worrying about you sweetheart.”  “I love you”

His words made her feel like shit.  Here she was lying in the bed she shared with her husband, after having sex with his best friend.  She had never felt so bad in her life.

“I love you too baby and I miss you so much.

“I miss you too sweetie. “I’ll see you on Thursday”

Jason hung up feeling like something wasn’t quite right Donna.  Did she know? He was glad that his boy Brandon was there and he would take care of things while he was gone.  He trusted Brandon.  They had been best friends since the 5^th grade.  He knew Brandon would cover for him.

Jason put the phone down on the table and tiptoed back to the bed.  He slid into the bed hugging to him the warm body waiting for him.  He lips found warm ones awaiting him, he would think about the situation more tomorrow.  Tonight he would focus on the person in the bed next to him just like he promised.
