IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME PT.7(A STORY BY KING PEN)
The slow cab ride home brought Cola back to a harsh reality as her mind
traveled a million milez per hour. Feelin more like the young careless
stripper she used to be rather than the mature registered nurse she had
become, Cola questioned every decision she had made last night as the
different chain of events replayed in her head. How could I let 2 niggas
fuck me last night? she thought to herself. Still slightly feeling the
effect of the drugz she had consumed, she realized that she wasn't who
she thought she was and deep down she was the same freak nasty bitch,
but it just took the drugz to bring it out of her. After convincing
herself the coke will be out her system in 3 dayz and the only time she
probably ever see M.Money again will be on B.E.T, she laid her hair
back on the seat, closed her eyez and tried to ease her mind.
"That'll be $67.41"! The cab driver stated while interrupting Cola
thoughts. Handing the man a crisp 100 dollar bill and tellin him to keep
the change, Cola grabbed the camcorder and went in her house. Comin thru
the door, Cola was greeted by the sound of th answering machine."You
have 2 new messages"! "You have 2 new messages" the machine repeated.
Cola sat the camcorder on the table and walked over to check the
messages. "1st New message 11:45 am" "Girl you already know who this is,
I was just callin to check on you and bitch you must fucked and fleed
M.Money becuz he just called ME askin for YOUR number"! Well you already
know a bitch wanna know what went down so when you get this message hit
me up....beep." Next New message 11:49 am" " Yea whatz good ma? This
Money, I was callin too see if you made it home safe and to see if you
got something I left at the suite? When you get this message Hit me up
at 648-555-1111...beep. What the fuck this nigga want and he pullin
disappearing acts and shit, Cola thought. Just hearin Money voice made
Cola feel dirty so a good bath was the next order of business. After
soakin in a much needed long hot bath Cola slipped into a white chanel
track suit and was out the door. Strollin thru her phone till she
reached the k'z she called the only other black nurse in her station.
Hello! Kim answered. Thank god u answered replied a desperate Cola. Girl
I need you to do me a favor! Yea, whatz that? Kim shot back. "I need you
to get me one of those morning after pills"! "I see somebody been
getting their freak on"! kim teased. Girl, whatever! Are you goin to do
it or not? Cola barked. "Yea girl I got you"! Kim answered. Ok im on my
way over there!
Hoppin in the lexus and fireballin it to the hospital, Cola ran inside
the er like she was in need of serious medical attention. Girl did you
get it? Cola whispered. Reachin into her scrubs Kim pulled out a balled
up napkin and placed it into Cola's hand. Girl thank you, I owe you one!
Just make that lunch when you return Tuesday! kim replied. Ok I got you,
girl you just don't know your a lifesaver! Cola explained. Or a life
taker! Kim joked back. Rushin to get out of there halfway unnoticed,
Cola was stopped dead in her tracks by Mrs.Rivers the head nurse in her
department. "Hello Kaliya! Rivers greeted Cola. Oh, how are you today
Mrs.River? Cola replied. Your not due here until Tuesday what brings
you in today? I wasn't sure when I came back so since I was in the area
I stopped in to check the schedule Cola answered makin up a quick lie.
Oh good, we're doin random drug testin this week and I was goin to wait
till Tuesday to tell you but since your here you might as well go and
knock it out! Rivers stated. You know where the testing lab on the 4th
floor is don't you???????
I KNOW I SAID I WAS GONNA DROP ONE EVERYDAY THIS WEEK BUT SOME LAST MINUTE SHIT CAME UP THAT HAD TO BE DEALT WIT....LMAO! I KNOW THIS IS SHORT SO FOR THE ONEZ THATZ NOT FEELIN THIS STORY THATZ A GOOD THING....LMAO!
