Thanks Malek that means a lot to me, I might give you some tonight and he says under his breath and someone else. He and Taye both start laughing, just then the waiter returns with our drinks and Malek say how yawl gonna order drinks and not get big daddy one? The waiter says what would you like to have and he said what ever he is drinking and points to Taye. So the waiter says so you need a Man Up in the worst way also, he says what the f*ck. I inform Malek that it is the name of the drink and he says I don’t want no punk drink, just bring me three shots of 42 Below. Taye ask Malek what he meant by a punk drink and Malek says man I am on the DL and I don’t be putting my sh*t out like that. As we wait for the show to start Ms Lora Michaels comes over to the table and start talking and the whole time she is making eye contact with Malek. Then she says are you going to introduce me to your guess? Yes this Taye Lamar I think you have met him before and she says hello and then says and who is this nice look brother while feeling his arm. Before I could introduce him she grabs his hand and he says I am Malek Dupree, did she just make a move on my man. Lora says well it is nice to meet you, do you mind if I sit for a while? All along she is parking her azz at my table right next to Malek, boy I take back what I was thinking earlier she is a b*tch moving in on my man. Malek calls that waiter over and ask Lora what is she drinking and she says I will have a Man Up and Malek says I will have what she is drinking. Taye says under his breath not a punk drink and Malek rolls his eyes at him. Sheba just called and wanted to know if we are ready to get the show going and I said sure. A few minutes later DJ Big D is on the mic and boy his name really fits him if you know what I mean.  He started by introducing Sheba Lee Special Assistant to the Artist & Repertoire Coordinator for Hard Muscle Records and then DJ Big D introduced Lora Michael’s the Vice President of Operations for Hard Muscle Records. Then he introduced me and says ladies and gentleman the man that is responsible for the night the Artist & Repertoire Coordinator for Hard Muscle Records, Mr. Jason Alexandra I stood and bowed and mouth thank you to Sheba. That is my girl and she is running things well, I am going to see if I can get her a promotion this year. But to be honest I am a little selfish, I don’t want to loose her but I do want her to move to the next level. Maybe I will create a new VP position and give her an assistant. As the first artist is wrapping up I decided to walk around the club and speak to some of the guest. As I walk around the club so many people walk up and give me their Bio and CD. There were a bunch of phine azz brother handing me there packages, there was this one kid that look eighteen but told me he was twenty one that said I will do anything to get into this business and I said anything and he said that is right. I gave him my personal number and told him to call me and let’s see what we could work out. The funniest moment of the night had to be when this Mr. T wannabe with fifty gold chains walked up and introduced him self and gave me a cassette tape. I was nice, but what in the hell am I going to do with a cassette tape? I don’t even own a cassette player and I am not sure if the stores still sell them. I kind of got a kick out of that old dude; the good thing is he did not give me an eight track. To Be Continued… AKA MA
