                    Bitches Brew

A little bit of this and a little bit of that, is tastier cheese for the big fat rat.  Elixir Calhoun didn’t even see it coming.  I’ve got more strategy than the NFL and I tackled her before she even had the opportunity to dodge the hit.  I knew that Missouri Meadows was the right flunky for the position, but I had no idea that my plan was going to work so flawlessly and quickly.  I suppose I had underestimated Missouri’s underlying hunger to taste the grandiose nectar of popularity.

Nick Harper was a last minute ingredient that I had not counted on adding to my special brew, but his collective charm was the superb kicker missing from my initial plan, and the timing was absolutely perfect.  I longed for this moment to happen; the moment when Elixir’s rein would end and mine would begin.  I decided to allow Missouri’s star to shine for a few weeks, but when she least expected it I was going to snatch the rug out from under her feet and change her glass carriage back into a fucking pumpkin.

Look at her getting drunk from all that admiration, working an outfit that I had already graced the stage with two years ago.  She was flossing and flaunting around like a million bucks when she was only spare change.  Children, I gave this hood rat a little bit of glamour and she was gorging herself on it, but before she ever had a chance to get too comfortable, I was going to strip her naked before her adoring public, just like I had done Elixir.

“What’s going on inside of that little devious brain of yours, Sunny,” Maddox asked me, pulling me from my thoughts.

“Darling, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I told him, snuggling in closer to his hard body, hoping that Elixir was somewhere nearby, enjoying the show.

“Sunny Skies, I know that you had something to do with what just happened to Elixir, but I’m not going to dig around for too much information, because that kind of knowledge could be detrimental to my health, “he said, chuckling.

“You’ve got me pegged wrong, baby, Sunny isn’t the type of girl to bring harm to anyone.  I feel so bad for Elixir, she was such a beautiful addition to the lineup, but, alas, nothing lasts forever and I’m sure that she’ll recover one day,” I told him, giggling triumphantly.

“Yea, right, Sunny, I wasn’t born yesterday, so I’m going to tell you something and I hope you take heed; when you live your life selfishly, ruining people’s lives in your quest for stardom, karma can be a motherfucker, so I hope you’ll be able to handle the consequences should they manifest,” he said, squeezing me tightly.

“Maddox, I’m a big girl, and I wouldn’t play the game if I didn’t know the rules,” I said, confidently, winking at him, while taking another sip from my Sapphire Bombay Martini with the olive and onion.

By the time Missouri and Nick finally made their way over to our table, Maddox and I were involved in a heavy exchange of grope and kiss.  The premature interruption did not sit well with me because, I didn’t want this bitch crowding my space, but I had to welcome her with open arms, so that I could stay on her good side until her services were no longer required.

“Darling, you look like marvelous,” I said, extending my arm out to greet her.

“Oh, thank you, Sunny, you made this night happen for me and I am totally in your debt,” she said, taking my hand, and bowing her head in gratitude.

“Stop…stop…please, I should be bowing to you, darling, you are the one wearing the crown tonight,” I told her, eyeing her up and down like she was cheap bottle of champagne.  She was too stupid to know that I didn’t mean anything I was saying, but I guess when you’re that hungry you would believe anything.

She blushed and slid into the booth beside me.  Nick followed her, so the two of us were, now, sitting in the middle, between two luscious stallions.  Now you know, I couldn’t even stand to hear the bitch breath, and there she was, sitting so close to me that our sides were actually touching beneath the table.  When I made it home I was sure going to be using some antibacterial soap, because I didn’t want any commoner germs on my skin.

I had practically tuned out the idol conversation taking place between my three companions, because I was trying to spot Elixir; I knew she had to exit the club through the front doors because the back ones were always bolted  at night to keep the rouge element out and all of the fabulousness in.

Just as I was about to shift my attention back to Maddox, I spotted Elixir making a mad dash toward the exit.  She was dressed as a man, so she pretty much went unnoticed, but she couldn't evade my roving eyes, and when she made it to the door, she turned and looked back towards where were sitting.

No one at our table noticed her but me.  When our eyes locked, I felt a chill run up my spine because the look she gave me assured me that things weren’t over, they were just getting started.  It made me feel a little uncomfortable as I sat there beside her man, watching her, silently, stare us down in disgust.

After two minutes of leering, she slid on some dark sun glasses, and exited the club.  I knew at that moment that I was going to have to activate my third eye in back of my head, because things were going to get tricky, and if I planned on keeping home field advantage, I was going to have to dot my “I’s” and cross my “T’s”.

“Baby, let’s blow this pop stand and go do that nasty,” Maddox said, licking the side of my cheek with his hot tongue.

“I’m ready, baby,” I told him, squeezing his hardness beneath the table, out of Nick and Missouri’s sights.

And now, children, it was time to put some icing on my cakes.
