A Disease called Jealousy

Dominick chased His brother down the long narrow alley. Dogs barked on either side of the alley jumping against the fence waiting for an opportunity to break loose.

"I'm gonna get you Brian!" Dominick yelled out between harsh breathing. It was bone chilling cold outside, and Dominick couldn't stand the cold. He'd rather be at home playing Playstation in a warm habitat then to be chasing his dumb little brother down an alley. Brian kept glancing backwards to see how much distance he had between his brother. He had a good advantage, but Dominick was fast on his feet. Brian took giving his brother the run around as fun, and excitement. Although, Dominick thought quite the opposite. Brian made a sharp turn as he neared the end of an alley. He knew this alley like the back of his hand. The ends and out's. Who's backyard was safe to go through, and who's wasn't. Dominick had walked this alley several times, but never knew the in's and out's like Brian. He could care less about the in's and out's of an alley. All Dominick cared about was football, and his playstation that he played football on. Brian was bred to lurk the streets, and be a street thug. He was only sixteen, but he had already made a good name for himself in the neighborhood. He had the kind of swag that magnetically appealed to the streets. Dominick was looked upon as a book worm, future football jock. At the age of seventeen he was already growing into a grown man. His facial features matched nothing with his age. Brian on the other hand had already been rated not only by his family, but by others as most likely not to succeed.

"Just give it back!" Dominick yelled as he watched his brother hit the corner. Dominick couldn't believe that Brian had gotten a hold of a major part of his life that he couldn't show the world. He'd made a vow not to ever let a soul find out about an obsession that had become a lifestyle. In his heart he believed his brother would never show anyone. Brian always did stuff like this to him. His fake blackmailing games. Whenever Brian had something to use against Dominick he would threaten him. Dominick would alway's give Brian what he wanted just to shut him up. Brian was a sneaky, manipulating brother to Dominick. Dominick knew that it was because of how people treated them. It was noticable to Dominick that Brian had become almost like a black sheep in the family. Every time the're parents began to trust Brian he'd do something to mess it right back up for himself. He was a burden that no one in the family cared to deal with. Dominick had no choice but to endure it with him.

Dominick hit the corner in enough time to see him entering Kingz Barber. He knelt down to catch his breathe and fix his strap. Brian had been caring his best friend Joker's gun for two days. It was for protection. Brian had a scuffle with some East side nigga's that he knew. He couldn't believe that all of this was going on. He sluggishly walked towards Kingz Barber. There was no use in chasing him now. Brian was a big show off so he knew that Brian was about to clown once he entered the barber shop.

"Out of breathe? You should be. So tell me Mr. Man or shall...you know what? I think you should start telling the truth bitch nigga!" Brian gave Dominick a gritty look daring him to come side ways. Dominick gave Brian that "Please don't do this to me in front of my people's" look. He had to play along with Brian's foolish ass long enough to get him home so that he could fuck him up. Brian became animated walking around like a sissy. Nigga's getting their hair cut chuckled, but nothing big.

"Listen, this is a business. So y'all lil' nigga' s got to get up out my shop with that riff raff!" Mr. Grey stood firm on his word by pointing to the door. "Out!" Dominick turned facing the door hoping Brian followed suit. People that knew him were in attendance. Old cats that he admired were in attendance. He knew that Brian couldn't just let shit go either. He always had to act a fool. The fact that he felt like Dominick always got the most attention didn't help. Brian yearned for attention. He had to be heard. Dominick prevented that in so many ways for him. This was his opportunity to get things back to the way they should be. The information that he held in his possession had given him the answer he longed for.
