Marcus was now laying down and asked her if she was okay, because she wasn’t focused on the room. Her thoughts were elsewhere. Jay heard her name the second time he called her,. She nodded her head, up and down. She wasn’t ready to speak to him. She was caught up in her emotions. It didn’t help that she could feel her heart beating in her pussy, it was throbbing. She was definitely sore, but a good sore.
She had to get up; she has to use the bathroom. She and Marcus had left one of the lights on so she noticed some blood on the sheets. She had to go. She would inquire later. She walked briskly to the bathroom. She squatted and handled her business. When she wiped, she noticed several traces of crimson drops, which she assumed was blood as well as other foreign fluids. She knew that he cum in her so she knew the rest was her discharges and his. She studied the thickness of the off white matter. She was somewhat disgusted at its sight. She became concerned. She had allowed him to cum in so she couldn’t complain too much. Jay took her time in the bathroom trying to regain her bearings. She needed a shower. She jumped in. She didn’t like the sticky and awkward feeling in between her legs. Marcus knocked on the door. It was like Déjà vu’. He wanted to check on her. He wanted to make sure she was alright mental after what they had done that she didn’t have any regrets and would hate him when they left the hotel. He definitely wanted to see her again, and not just sexually.
He tried the door knob, and it opened. He entered cautiously. This time the moment didn’t feel as sensual as it did earlier. He had concern on his heart and not lustful intent. He pulled back the shower curtain. There stood a crying Jay. She was shaking uncontrollably. She couldn’t believe she actually went through with it better yet that she enjoyed it. Marcus stepped in the shower with his boxers and socks on snatching her into a tight embrace. He didn’t want to let her go. He did think she would react like this. Jay cried harder into his chest. She was embarrassed that her saw her like this. She was a strong individual, and was currently in a weak state, which wasn’t her norm. She attempted to speak, but he hushed her by kissing her. He wanted her to know that he understood and was there for her.
Jay’s tears were very salty. He tasted them when he kissed her cheeks and eyes. He took his hands and wiped both her eyes, making her look up at him. He backed up. He wanted to know if she was okay. He inquired if she was in any pain in that sensitive area. Jay shook her head no. She didn’t want to admit that she was sore. Marcus knew better than to believe her. Although, she kept up with him…he guessed she was regretting it this moment. She pulled him into her being appreciating his kindness and sincerity. She sensed he wasn’t just being nice to her. There was more to it. They hugged until the phone in the room rang. She laughed when she observed what he had on in the shower. She couldn’t help it. She told him he might as well stay in and wash up. She’ll get the phone; it’s probably was her cousin since he was the only person that knew that she was here. She left Marcus in the shower. She grabbed a towel as she walked out. She didn’t look back; if she has she would have noticed that he stared at her the entire time without blinking his eyes. She wanted too. She was feeling Marcus beyond the sexual encounter. She wanted her feelings to be wrong.
The ringing stopped as soon as she reached the night stand. She started drying off. The ringing began again. The phone sounded louder this time around, like the person on the other end was upset with her. She had to be imagining this. She got up. She tightly said hello into the receiver. It was her cousin, just as she thought originally. He asked her if she was alright that she didn’t sound like herself. She tried lightening her tone. She answered I’m good, what’s up? He said, regrettably I have to ask you’ll to vacate that suite someone called in to book it a couple of hours ago for a morning arrival. I need to have the maid service come in and clean it, swap towels, robes, etc before the guest arrives. Also, change sheets if need be. I gave you some additional time, because I didn’t know the nature of your business. I think I’ve figured it out. She laughed and told him to shut up. She suspected this would get around town. She had walked into a hotel with a dude. What was she thinking? She told Walter they were getting ready anyway – we’ll be down in thirty minutes or less and hang up.
As she hangs up the receiver, Marcus concluded his time in the bathroom looking refreshed. He still had concern in his eyes when she looked at him. He felt a little better since she had a smile on her face. He inquired about the call. She told him that we have a half hour before we have to exit the room. He said okay. They both started getting dressed. They both decided to go without undergarments well Marcus had no choice in the matter. His boxer’s and socks were soaking wet. He ended up throwing them away. He sat on the bed after pulling on his jeans, and retrieving his Tims from near the door. He had to adjust his laces since he didn’t have on any socks. He stopped. He felt he was being watched. She was glancing at him and got caught. He asked her…do you want to go to breakfast with se we can talk? Jay said sure. Although she was uncertain of where this was going, she wondered aimlessly about what he could possibly want to talk about. She had agreed because she wasn’t ready to leave his presence.
She slipped her Tim’s on turning to him asking if he was ready to face the world. Marcus stood up and said I’m always ready to face the world. He walked up to her…mouthing the words, are you? He didn’t wait for a response. He continued… we are leaving here feeling somewhat different than the way we walked in. Jay had to agree that she was seeing things differently. She had allowed her emotions to get involved. There goes that word again. She didn’t allow her emotions to surface when she was banging the back of a female. She interrupted in by saying let’s continue this conversation at IHOP. I’m hungry….aren’t you? Marcus said okay.
They left the room approximately ten minutes later cracking jokes and shit on each other. Their moods had scaled back some, making room for laughter and easiness. Once Jay and Marcus exited the elevator, Jay heard someone calling her name. The voice sounded familiar. It was her home girl, Rayna, but everyone called her Ray. Jay knew this wasn’t a coincidence bumping into Ray. Marcus stepped off looking in the direction of the person calling Jay out. Jay immediately became irritable. She rolled her eyes. She wasn’t in the mood for this bullshit. When she abruptly stopped, Marcus bumped right into her catching an instant hard-on. He couldn’t believe. This wasn’t the time for that. Jay felt him but didn’t move or let on. He stood there as if he was her bodyguard.
Ray bopped up to Jay asked her what was she doing here as she looked Marcus up and down, well up she couldn’t see anything besides his boots since he was positioned behind Jay. He held his ground. Jay was holding his left pants leg, letting him know that she had this. Ray noticed her move but she didn’t comment on it. She was pissed that Jay was here with some dude. He looked familiar to her as well. She couldn’t place him though. Jay countered with… what the hell are you doing here? No one I know comes here and no one knows that I was here but………she let it trail off. Ray knew she was speaking the truth. She had wondered where Jay would dip off too with her smut bunnies. She would drive past her apartment and her car wouldn’t be there. Ray knew she better answer her or there would be problems here in the lobby. Meanwhile, Jay started questioning what Walter had told her on the phone about someone needing the room this morning. She assumed he had set up. She would deal with him later on.
Several minutes had passed; Ray was in the process of telling her the details of her visit when she heard Walter’s voice. He turned the bend near the elevators with a maid and her cart in tow. He couldn’t believe what he saw. What is she doing here…he thought to himself. Oh shit, his mind started racing as he saw the look on Jay’s face. He knew he was in for it. She could extremely violent at times when she feels that she has been disrespected or violated. He’s seen her in action. She has even handled some of his females in the past. Ray looked in his direction when Jay’s eyes shifted from her. Ray saw an argument brewing. She decided to offset it as much as possible. She regretted coming down here; however, it was too late too do anything about it now. She had to forge forward.
Ray didn’t want to get Walter hemmed up. She overheard the conversation he had with Savoy earlier. She knew that Savoy wouldn’t tell anyone what he had heard about Jay. She was his ace. He loved her unconditionally and always had her back no matter what. Ray was jealous of the relationship. She has known Savoy longer. She grew up with his people. Ray had answered the phone the same time he did, but never hang up when she heard Walter’s voice. She knew he was calling about Jay that was the only time he called the house phone that was his mistake. He should have called Savoy on his cell, and all of this could have been avoided. Ray couldn’t believe “Prince” Jay was standing here with a dude. Secondly, she couldn’t believe that Walter would spread her business maybe he was as shocked as she is right now. Ray played her position. She waved at Walter. He had no other choice to respond…well, he could turn and run away from the impeding situation. He knew it was going to get worse before it got better.
Jay waved Walter’s silly ass over to where the miniature crowd was hovering in the lobby. She want to get him fired, but he was about to get fired upon depending on his response all bets were off.
Jay took a deep breath. She finally removed her hand from Marcus’ leg. He hadn’t moved a muscle. She needed a cigarette to calm down that would be the first thing she would ask Walter for when he got to their circle. Once he arrived, he looked Ray up and down asking what she was doing here. Jay said – paused homie – I’m the only person who will be asking the questions here. She asked him for a cig. He quickly produced one. He took this as a good sign since he knew his cousin well or so he thought. Jay put it behind her ear, and then drummed her words into his face. You’re the only person who knew I was here so who did you tell my business too because obviously it has been repeated since Ray is here in the lobby questioning about something that has nothing to do with her. Walter was nervous. He started shuttering. He said he only called Savoy. Jay blew the fuck up when she heard this and cursed his ass out. She called him everything but a child of God. Walter was embarrassed. The maid was still lingering around. He turned to look at her this made her move on to her next location the suite upstairs. He knew he deserved everything he was getting. Ray stopped Jay from continuing her ranting and raving. It appeared Walter was about to be brave and respond. She held up her hand silencing him. He had tears in his eyes. Ray said…Jay no one repeated anything, while except for Walter here. She had to get a dig in while it was available. She continued Savoy told him he was wrong for calling him and spreading your business… typical Savoy coming to your defense with venom in her tone. See, Savoy didn’t know that I answered the line the same time he did so I heard everything that was shared. I hang up after I knew the line was clear. I couldn’t risk hanging anything before then. After you left us at Bunns’, we all went over to his house to kick back and smoke some weed. I saw you leave with a female, Pinkey the freak, if I’m not mistaken so you can understand how surprised I was to hear you ended up with a dude instead. Walter straightened up. He didn’t like the tone Ray was taking with his cousin. Yet, he knew better than to get involved in their discussion since he triggered it. He wanted to defend his actions.
Jay looked at Walter in disgust. She said you’ve never violated our friendship or bond in the past, why now? It will never be the same. She turned to Ray saying, thank you but no thank you. You shouldn’t have come here. Additionally, this fake sincerity you’re projected is see through. This is none of your business…what I do is none of your business. Also, you’ve let it slip that you have been following me from time to time; friends do not do that to each other. Our friendship is over. Ray got pissed. She started yelling at Jay about her hasty decision. Jay told her you’ve been dancing in my dismiss line for a while now – in the nastiest tone – and finally crossed it. If I heard anything about this anywhere, you better be ready to cash the check you know you ass can’t handle. Ray swung at Jay. She didn’t know what else to do her emotions were raw and on edge. Marcus pushed Jay to the side out of the way just in the nick of time. The blow barely missed her. He told Ray to leave now or you will have to deal with me. Jay said nothing. She was ready to jump on Ray’s ass. She was shocked that he came to her defense. She could hold her own. Ray rolled her eyes. She didn’t move for several seconds, but Marcus did. He said is there something about what I said that you didn’t understand. Is there a problem? Ray took a step back saying no there isn’t any problems here right now before winking at Jay. She said to Jay this isn’t over. Jay laughed and said it will be when I catch that ass on the streets – believe me. Marcus took a commanding tone with her saying I don’t know you but this issue better yet this none issue is over. If I hear that Jay has been fighting or has got banked you will have me and my crew to deal with. Ray took his threat as a joke by saying whatever. She laughingly said I’ve never seen you or your duck ass niggas in the hood before pretty boy. She walked away smugly. Marcus was about to go after her, but Jay stopped him. She said to him she isn’t worth the drama and the call to the police if we act up in here. Trust me, I know what I am doing. She is a punk as bitch who is riding on my boys shirt tail because she grew up with his peoples. She isn’t going to do anything to me or you. I plan on having a long talk with Savoy tomorrow anywhere. Marcus smirked and said alright then. Are we done here?
Marcus knew Savoy. He’ll have to explain his connection to him over breakfast so she isn’t surprised later on. He turned back around looking at Walter, saying nothing. He just glared at him until he stormed off. He knew better than to get involved in family business. Jay was so ready to go. She asked him if he was still up for breakfast after this little encounter. Marcus said yes, and much more. Jay didn’t know what the “much more” meant. Marcus suggested they take one of their vehicles and come back later for the other. Jay declined. She had somewhere to go afterwards and did need any delays, business was business. Marcus understood even though he was disappointed. He wanted her next to him. They walked out without speaking another word to each other about what just occurred. The mood they had earlier had been ruined by Walter and Ray’s juvenile antics. She thought all the times she entertained Walter’s gossiping ways and now she found herself on the receiving end of it. She wasn’t happy at all about that. She wondered if this was the first time or did he just happen to get caught red handed.
Jay shook off those negative thoughts to concentrate on the man in front of her and what he wanted to talk about.
Meanwhile, Marcus looked around. He was looking for the valet from earlier. He didn’t see him. He could release some frustration on him right about now and not have any worries of backlash.
Jay was still stuck on Marcus’ comment of ‘much more’. She wanted to know what it meant. She could read in between the lines, but she doubted it. She couldn’t envision him wanting anything more than the occasional rump in the hay. He didn’t strike her as the type of dude that wanted a commitment or wifey chick that he had to answer too. All she knows is something shifted in his mannerism or was she confusing his lack of for her insecurities with females. She could never commit to any of them, and many have tried.
Neither of them waited for the valets to retrieve their vehicles. Jay asked the older gentleman sitting by the keys for her and Marcus’ keys. He asked for make, models, and tag numbers to ensure he was giving it to the right people. Jay told him hers and asked Marcus for his. They walked towards to parking garage. Once inside, Marcus noticed his truck was parked three cars down from her car so they walked to their respective vehicles. They both got in their rides and got comfortable. Jay lit her cigarette and inhaled. She needed that. She rolled down her window to let the smoke out. She hated smelling like cigarette smoke. He wasn’t in a rush, per se, but he pulled out first, and blew his horn at her rolling down his passenger window. She waved at him to move his truck. She pulled out of her spot and then pulled in next to him. He asked her let’s change the destination from IHOP to the diner on Christopher St. by the old train tracks. He knew his brother should be there by now for his breakfast meal. He loved that diner. It was the meeting spot for several people when the after hour let out. Marcus instructed her to follow him. Jay had no problems with that. She let him pull out first, and fall in line behind him. Jay loved the idea of the diner. She had never been there but heard a lot about it. She finished her cigarette and closed her window with a smile on her face. She needed some music in her life so she turned on her radio. It was on the oldies station. The song playing hit her, it was Etta James :At Last: She had to laugh out loud. She couldn’t help it. She knew messages were delivered through all channels. She may listen to this one. She noticed that he made a call before turning. She didn’t care about who he was calling or talking too or did she. He respected her enough to have left his phone in his truck while they were in the hotel. She wasn’t as polite. She did; however, place it on vibrate…
Marcus took them the back way to Christopher St., once they exited the Wyndham’s garage. Jay looked at her watch she couldn’t believe the time. Plus, they’ve been driving for 10 minutes. Normally, it took her a lot less time to get to this side of town. She forgot this was the hang out spot for many after a late night of partying. There were a few cars out, and people lingering in the parking lot. Jay wasn’t worried about who saw her at this point. Marcus must not be worried either since he selected this location. He must feel comfortable here. They each found a parking spot. Marcus observed where Jay parked. He drove around twice hoping to get a spot closer to hers, unsuccessful in his attempt. He did notice one of his homies car’s was parked a few cars down from Jay. He was cool with that. He changed the venue so she could meet his crew, but one person in particular. He was no pretty thug. He just took care of himself and liked nice things – including JAY.
Jay got out before he did. She noticed that Savoy’s Caddy was parked six cars down from hers after she started walking towards the diner. Her morning couldn’t get any better, she thought to herself. Marcus was further back so she slowed down to wait for him to catch up.
Marcus suspected that Jay recognized Savoy’s Caddy. He asked her is she alright with going inside. Jay said I have nothing to hide. Marcus okay, I don’t either. They walked towards the dinner with the temptation of handing onto each other. The diner wasn’t as crowded as the parking lot portrayed. They entered the diner, and had to wait to be seated. The hostess station was right near the door. Jay tried scanning the place, but she wasn’t able to see the entire area. The waitress sat them in the back, which Marcus felt was a good move on her part. She would receive a lovely tip just for the seating arrangement. Jay continued looking around the establishment seeking out Savoy. She didn’t notice him until they got to their table. The waitress sat them two tables down from Savoy and his party, which unfortunately included Ray. This would turn into an interesting breakfast. Jay knew that Savoy wouldn’t let them fight due to an unfair advantage. Jay was a pro at street fighting; she had been tested by the best.
Marcus and Jay both sat down both sensing this may not end on a positive note this morning.
They both sat down neither paying attention to the look on Ray’s face. The waitress did her job and took their orders. Marcus ordered two breakfast meals for himself. While Jay ordered something light. Once the waitress walked away, Marcus placed his hands on Jay’s and held them tightly. He wanted to share his feelings before Savoy or Ray made their way to the table. Again, his intentions were interrupted this time by Savoy, who bopped his way to their table taking a seat without asking permission. Jay smiled and said what’s up Sav? And then gave him some dap. Savoy looked at Marcus. Jay wondered what that look was about. Both men broke into the biggest smiles. Savoy spoke up first. I see now why you blew me off earlier and why you haven’t been answering your phone. Jay didn’t know that know one another. She looked from Savoy to Marcus, and back wondering who would answer the question mark on her face. She didn’t have to wait long for an explanation. Savoy smiled at her first, followed by Marcus’ smirk at that moment she saw the fucking resemble obviously both her and Ray overlooked earlier.
Savoy spoke up first. He said I see you’ve finally met my brother and closest ace Marcus. He is known in the streets as Lightening. Jay had heard the name before and some stories related to him. She was impressed with the stories but now seeing the person and from spending time with him he didn’t appear to be the type to be so wild and crazy. She’s never the myth, while until today. He was the living legend of Wabash and Cold Spring. Marcus extended his hand to her since he has released her hands when Savoy walked up. She couldn’t move an inch. She couldn’t fucking believe she just had sex with Savoy’s brother. Whoa! Was all she could muster out of her mouth...Marcus laughed. Jay just looked at him. Marcus turned his attention back to his brother saying hey Sav what’s up with that chick Ray at your table. Savoy just shrugged his shoulders,. He said nothing at first then said it ain’t nothing I can’t handle. He told both of them she isn’t a relative or nothing although a lot people assume so, while except Jay and of course you know better. I know her peoples from around the way. She says a lot of things in the streets to get credibility through my name. I’ve tolerated it over the years because she wants to be a thug so bad since she’s so-called dominate female when it comes to dyk-ing. I didn’t want to pop her bubble. I know about some of the details from her earlier stunt. I had to snatch her up when she stormed in here talking about getting Jay fucked up and some dude that she was with. When I asked her to describe the dude, I had to warn her that her words were about to get her killed so she might was to settle down quickly and quietly.
I knew you were with someone I just didn’t know who. Although Jay’s cousin put the word out he didn’t know who you were or I think he would have remained quiet. Marcus was called Lightened for a reason. He stroke and moved on not leaving behind a clear he was there except for the person he knocked the hell out. He doesn’t do street corners.
Savoy continued she is over there sulking and disgruntled that I defended you Jay. Oh well. Savoy went on to say Jay she wants your claim to fame and it doesn’t help that she likes you – which she would never admit aloud to anyone – not realizing her actions are putting her out there anyway. Jay’s eyes got big. Savoy thought her you may want to rethink the friendship not that you know the truth. Jay didn’t say anything. The waitress arrival gave her time to think about what was said and done. The waitress brought their orders to the table. Jay had a habit of checking her food before allowing the waitress to work away. She checked her plate and then informed the waitress she would keep hers. She looked over at Marcus he had started eating. He paused to look at her and said I am fine with what I have. The waitress walked away with an attitude. Jay didn’t care. Once the waitress was out of ear shot, Jay said I’ll think about it. Marcus said to his brother my threat still stands. If anything happens to my girl there will be problems. Both Jay and Savoy looked at him in awe. Jay repeated what he said. Marcus straightened his back and repeated his last statement with more assertiveness. He went on to say, I like you a lot Jay it beyond the sexual encounter. I know you felt it too. Jay lowered her head. She didn’t really want to have this conversation in front of Savoy especially now knowing they were related.
Savoy sensed her hesitation He didn’t want to participate in this conversation. He knew his brother well and when he wanted something he got it. He didn’t take now very well. He excused himself not before hugging Marcus in a manly embrace. He rubbed Jay on her shoulders. Marcus scooted his chair over to be closer to her. She leaned into him. They kissed in the dinner. Jay’s qualms were suddenly silenced. She was where she needed and wanted to be.
Jay broke their kiss, and then pointed to her plate. She was hungry. Marcus laughed. He couldn’t argue with her request. He had already established were he stood in that matter. Marcus paused to say a quick grace over his food the second time around. Jay didn’t normally say grace but she waited for him to complete his words before she took her first bite. Their food was no longer hot, it wasn’t cold either, and it didn’t matter to them in that moment since their forks were going back and forth like boxers in a ring. Marcus spoke up. He finished chewing the last piece of country fried steak that was on his fork. He started talking again, while looking at his pancakes. He professed how he felt for her all over again this was a first for him. He told her he would understand if she wasn’t on the same page, etc. Jay was overwhelmed. She was on the same page just on the first or second paragraph; when it seemed like he was a paragraph away from turning the page. Jay stressed that she still adores females and their companionship; she cannot see herself sleeping with both sexes at the same time. This would give her the chance to fully focus on Marcus and where this unplanned encounter will lead them…she thought stranger things have happened.
Unknown to Jay and Marcus, Ray watched them the entire. She was fuming. She will get what she wants as well as her revenge.
Ray crazy she needa quit hatin!
