Keep Flying - a poem, by Author, G. D. GraceKeep flying Though they tell you your wings aren’t strong enough to Keep flying Even when they say that your feathers will fail you Keep flying In spite of gale force winds that try to ground you Keep flying Regardless of your inner fears and doubts Keep flying No matter how vile the behind the back whispers hurt you Keep flying Knowing that God’s grace is stronger than the haters who criticize you Keep flying Because you are rare and special, the only one of you Keep flying Bask in the rays of sunlight that warms and touches your face Keep flying Like you know exactly where you need to be Keep flying Soar the vast and wide so free Keep flying Recognize that you deserve to be Keep flying Creation of God’s so amazing Keep flying In spite of everything Keep flying Because you’re even better than something else Keep flying Towards a better sense of self Keep flying Passing clouds and mountains high Keep flying Beautiful being soar and zoom, zigzagging across the sky Keep flying For the haters may never come in to their own Keep flying Be the example and they will know that you are strong Author, G. D. Grace (c) March 2010
