RIPPED & READY – TRANSITIONAL MESSAGE

Ripped & Ready Family, I am humbled by your unyielding support of this project and feel so very blessed by all of the interest and sincere love you have shown throughout the course of this run, for the characters as well as for its storyline.    
My emotions are all over the place right now writing this message to all of you because I am filled with so much joy about the family that has been created as a result of this story. 
With that said, I’ll go on to the purpose of this message.  Chapter 96 marks the end of a great run for Season One of Ripped & Ready.  I am filled with anxious apprehension because I know, in reality, that this is a major move for the readers, but hopefully it will be one that separates the faithful from the fly-bys.

RIPPED & READY (PART LXI) 
 
The closer Peewee got to me, the more my heart began to race.  Once we were face to face and he smiled, I breathed a sigh of relief. I asked him what brought him to Stanford Hospital and he told me he was there to meet his cousin for lunch.  In that I knew several people there I couldn't imagine who he was related to because I prided myself on being in the know. 
We did a soul-brotha shake and I told him that I was sorry about his brother getting hurt at my apartment.  He told me that Darrius' injuries weren't that serious, and thanked me for taking the high road in the matter.  I told him that I wasn't going to press charges, but I couldn't speak for the San Jose Police Department. He said he definitely understood.
