Angel spent the rest of the week preparing for her daughter’s 1st birthday party, from buying balloons and booking Elmo she was all over it. Angel was driving down Linden Blvd. with Justine sleep in the back seat, on her way to her house. She took her Blackberry Storm out of her Prada bag to check her messages. I'm not saying this just to be nasty, but I sincerely wanted to slap the fucking taste out of the smug bastards face. I guess the part that really got me fired up was how he said what he said and then resumed his dog 'n pony show with the “Waiting To Exhale” crew sitting across from us.  The more he ignored me, the hotter I was getting.  Then, like Popeye says, I had had enough and I couldn't "stands" no more. 
Before Todd could get to my hand, I reached across the table and slapped the shit out of D'Andre.  Had he not been so consumed in his flirtatious flaunt, he might have been able to intercept that gift I had just lit his ass up with.  The pop's echo was so loud that nearby patrons all gasped at once.

When we walked through the doors of Claim Jumper's, there were several patrons already waiting to be seated.  There was a Mexican family, a Middle Eastern family (Todd cringed a little), and a sistah-girl foursome (uh huh, black women).  They stopped mid-giggles and their eyes focused on D'Andre and Todd.  As they started whispering and pointing, and high-fiving each other, I just knew they were talking about my boys.

Its been almost a week since JJ's birthday party and I have yet to confront Jonathan or Michelle. I decided that it wasnt worth it, but I have noticed how Jonathan's demeanor has changed and Michelle has been avoiding me. I tried to ignore everything but it was getting difficult to keep doing it.
I was consumed with all of my drama that I forgot all about Crystal's birthday. She said it was okay, but I knew she was hurt, so I decided to make it up to her. My aunt Beatrice (my daddy's sister) had a beach house in Galveston and she told me that I could use it for the weekend. Crystal was so excited to go and I was glad that I could make it up to her. We were leaving Friday night with our friend Tamara.
I was trying to hurry up and pack my clothes. Tamara and Crystal were on their way in a rental car and I had waited till the last minute to get my things ...
