Author Bio Data: Bio: Who is G. D. Freightman? G. D. Freightman and G. D. Grace are one in the same. He uses Freightman for his Ripped & Ready project. The use of this name was purely accidental. He began writing Ripped & Ready in September of 2009 and out of nervous energy, he decided to go with an alias when he made his first entries onto a website for beginning writers. Before he knew it he had developed a following of 100 plus readers and as it kept growing those readers knew him as G. D. Freightman, so he decided not to change it. For their sake he published Season One under his alias name – because that is the personality that created the story. I know it sounds a little strange, but artists usually go outside of the box, so he just went with it. G. D. Freightman is a young, middle-aged, African American male with two self-published works to his credit. The first is a collection of 25 poems entitled “UP” Unchartered Possibilities and the other is his first novel entitled “Knights of Deception” which explores the life of the “Down-Low” man and the consequences of deceit. Both can be found and are available for purchase on the LULU website at: http://stores.lulu.com/enlightenment4theheart His literary works still in progress include: “UP2” Unquestionable Possibilities; another collection of poems, as well as his up and coming novels, “Snowflake” and “With Arms Around Me” along with “Knights of Deception 2” (scheduled for release in Spring of 2010) and, of course, Season 2 of Ripped & Ready – all projects are making him a very busy man. His influences include the late successful author, E. Lynn Harris as well as fellow phenomenal writer and film producer Tyler Perry. His belief in God and his passion for literary expression fuel his ambition and provide him strength and confidence to enter into the literary world of artistry where criticism and scrutiny are prevalent and constant. He is driven by his love of creativity. His departure from a life of security with his 26 year employer was a leap of faith that he embraces each and every day with less fear as his literary talents and his following grows. “I have grown spiritually and feel that my purpose here on earth found me and even though there is fear sometimes wondering about my financial situation, I believe that it is why I was born – to inspire and, with my first book in print, oh what a legacy I am building to leave behind long after I take my last breath…” God bless G. D. Freightman
